O.k. I know I have been absent from the site for a while, but I am going to take my car to the dealership for a few faults....... My tranny is leaking(still haven't found any fulid leaking)with no problems and fulid is not getting low, I have a broken neg clamp, and the pump for my windsheild washer is not working(yes I have washer fulid in it), and ,my clock is acting funny. My mods are custom rims, muffler, reverse indiglo gauges, sound system, air intake (stock will be going back on before I take it) and lowering springs. Now with theses mods on, and correct me if I'm wrong, but all that should be fixed as warrenty work. So I once agian turn to my XD breathren for advice and to make sure I have my sanity in place.I have a copy of the act for ammo when the give me flack about "My warrenty is void for blah blah......."

the only thing i can think of that they might give you hard time for is the clock with because of the guages and the sound system. the rest of the mods i have hard time seeing causing your problems

^^Agrees 100%^^^ Your tranny has nothing to do with any of your stated mods. What do you mean its leaking but you can't find any fluid and the level isn't low? Just wondering.

Depending on how big of a prick the guy is, they may say that the rims caused the transmission problem, because of different overall radius or some crap like that (not true, but they may try that angle).

Off Topic:

I read the title, and I was thinking to myself: "hmm... I know that they make 9mm handgun target ammo and antipersonnel ammo, but I've never heard of anti-dealership ammo..."

Sorry, sometimes my mind does strange things when I'm not looking.

As for the tranny fluid I check it about every 3-4 days since I was told about the leak.....and the level has not moved since I got the car 4 years ago.....I was told by jiffy lube while they were changing my oil......he said it was where the engine meets the tranny.....(bell housing is what popped into my head)...but upon me taking my car to work and lifting the front end up only found a dried fluid on a seal where the tranny and diff housing are (looking at an auto tranny under car from engine to tranny....second seal).....no fluid on any ground where I park, in my driveway or anywhere for that matter....and I see your point about the system and gagues.....it might be pulling too much juice from the alternator.......but even when both are off its still does't come on sometimes and I disconnected them both to see what happens.......

If you raise the car on a rack looking at the tranny towards the front of the car its a second seal....about the middle of the tranny..... :werd:
