i'm sorry if this is a stupid question but.... to debadge the rear do you just pull off the hyundai and GLS symbols? does it take paint with it? i'd like to debadge it but want to know this so that i don't mess up my car! i have an AvanteXD symbol from SR.... do you think that'd look good on the back instead?

i dont know how to put badges on but to take it off get a plastic knife and a hair dryer put the hair dryer on high or medium heat and push on the hyundai and gls (one at a time) till you feel it getting wobbly. then start scraping it off with a kinfe and eventually youll get it all of there might be some glue left so scrap taht off 2 you dont need paint and it takes about 15 mins altogether real easy job but i dont know how to get the [I]H off

could also just leave it on the sun for a while and use dental floss instead of a plastic knife

"Use a hairdryer + extention cord + dental floss + goo gone for the **** you leave behind." One side note, wash the area with water and then put a small coat of wax back on the area you used the goo gone. I used a soft clothe and WD-40 to get mine off and a little elbow grease. Worked fine though.

I used wax coated mint flavored dental floss and a little wax afterwards. Mint flavored dental floss is the only thing that works, so make sure you don't do something stupid and get regular dental floss. Cause that would just be dumb.j/k

I used floss and a low powered heat gun, make sure you use the floss afterwards too, dont waste it!

Just be smart. The suggestions above are good, just be gentle.
I simply pulled mine off when it was hot outside, no problems, add some goo gone and you are set.

i did that to my car w/ a hairdryer on high, dental floss (fishing wire is better cause dental floss breaks like a *****)...just heat the symbol back and forth for like 30 seconds and saw it off with the wire...oh yeah...taking the big "H" off is a BAD idea...two large holes behind it (i covered them up with my GT badge :abovelol: looks SWEET, i ordered one for the front too)

Taking the Crooked H off is easy, lift up ur trunk, there is 2 pegs, get a hammer or somthing hard and push out, it will come off in on piece and NO SCRATCHES. I got the Mussa Emblem to replace it with, it awesome. Also thinking about getting the Mussa front grille.
