ah, KDM... you gotta love factory superchargers.
(for those of you who don't know, the santa fe has a scoop because the 2.7L is offered supercharged overseas).

I like the new SFs - they look good. That burnt sienna color is nice, too.
The uncovered-rivet look on the fenders, though...I guess if you're stealing sedan styling tips from BMW, might as well steal SUV styling tips from Nissan.

Love the grille and front-end treatment, it looks really good from the back, but I'm not really a fan of that style of lower bodyside cladding.

Why dont they offer the 2.7 supercharged in the states?

One word: Warranty. Hyundai is working so hard here in the US to become recognized as building some of the most reliable cars out there and backing it up with a (mostly) spectacular warranty, that there's no way they'd risk a supercharged engine here at this point. Maybe a few years down the road once they've established their reputation a little more securely they'll start taking a few more risks to appeal to enthusiasts.

Its a shame, I bet that supercharged SantaFe can haul ***.

In Korea its a gutless turbo diesel. And the scoops suck up a lot of bugs I hear. :) A lot of big insects in Korea. I hit a dragonfly while I was riding my bike and had I not been wearing sunglasses, it might have taken out my eye. :) I laugh when I think about the morons on their morotcycles speeding with no helmets. Hit one at 100km+ and it's like getting shot in the head.
What countries does Hyundai offer the 2.7 v6 supercharged and do they do the same with the Tiburon in those countries?

I do know these Santa Fe's can be had from our nice country to the south  Mexico, I don't know the prices though.
