Ok, hmaservice.com isn't working for me? Is it down or have they finally blocked the little guy? Maybe sed will have some insight.
But the reason I need it is I was trying to find any TSB's and recalls on the 05 model year elantra gt. Just to have the dealer take care of everything before I leave the lot.
Thanks

Remember, use the Forgot Your Password feature the first time you use it.

I don't think he is coming around here anymore - our loss.

Does anyone know if there is an equivalent HMAservice for Canada. I tried to google for it but couldn't find it. The reason I ask is that I've been having the seat rail issue problem of a slight "rock" which is currently being resolved and they said that there is a different TSB on the canadian site.

Never heard of a Canadian HMAservice site. Maybe the dealership is BSing you?

they won't let you change the password... and vsolo is correct in regards to FireFox. it won't work with that browser

Ok, question for everyone now. I'm on hmaservice.com, and have been for a while. Lately, it won't show me the pictures when I look things up. The drawings and what not, they just don't show up. I'm using IE for it, and nothing. It's pissing me off. I'm trying to go and tighten up my tie rod end because of some noise in the area when I come into the driveway at the apartment building, but since there's so much snow now and it's all of a sudden so freaking cold, I want to get it done quickly, so I want to know exactly where everything is before I walk outside. Can anyone help me with that either with a picture of their own, or with getting the picture of the assembly from the site for me...
Thanks.

You need a scalable vector graphics viewer now. I think the latest version of Adobe Reader (formerly "Acrobat") comes with an SVG browser plugin now.

Thanks for that tip Leviathant.
I've been having the same problem as Rob.
Just downloaded the SVG viewer now, and it works with no worries.

hmaservice has got to be one of the most poorly designed websites I've EVER used. There's no ability to change the password, it only works with IE, half the pictures can't be viewed... and now it won't let me in because my session has expired?
I can still log in using firefox but that's pointless since the site doesn't work with firefox. Has anyone else had this problem before of it kicking you out and not letting you back in? I've deleted all the cookies and cache from IE and it still keeps saying my session is expired.
EDIT: You can't just delete your cookies and cache in IE and then expect to log in. You actually have to close out your browser, and open up a new IE window to log in.

is there a list of torque specs anywhere?
I know they are listed throughout the site on each article by category, but I want a big long list.
EDIT: nevermind, found a chart:
http://www.hmaservice.com/main.jsp?actionName=downloadFileContent&infoContent_contentID=1083462&infoContent_classID=47503&inFolderID=1071350&modelid=5&modelyr=2003&type=null&sameWindow=true&doGet=y
not sure if that link will work for everyone, but if you search: "torque transmission" under the SHOP category, it'll bring up that page as the 5th link.

Ok, I for some reason can't signup to HMA since everytime I try clicking the link to the privacy policy in firefox OR safari, it won't load it up. And you need to click the link before you can sign up apparently...soooo...any help?

Once you "sign up" and it doesn't go anywhere, use the forgot password link to request your password.
The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago and on a whim I decided to use the forgot password link and it sent me one! :)
