myslef and djspinner would be the ones to ask. we both compete in spl comps. if you want spl only, it WILL sound like **** for daily use. mine is set up for daily, but i still hit a 139.9+. just 1 10w7 and pushing it with only 500 watts might get you up into the 125+ range. mainly it depends on the box, extra battery for system, and main battery, and alternator upgrade. for spl you will need ALOT of extra power. and dynamat the interior fully, all doors, roof, and trunk lid.
do you have a trunk or hatch?
djspinner, whats your take on this?

SPL only!!!
Trunk Car - Face sub firing into the cabin. gain on the amp set to 3/4 head unit EQ set to Flat. SLA +4 if you have it. sub level at +4. everything else flat. volume = well it depends on the head unit.
Hatch Car - sub still firing forward into the cabin. box pushed back all the way to the back of the trunk. gain and HU setting still the same.
Note - this is all refrence material. every car, speaker, and amp reacts differently. in my car with 2 10s I hold the State record in SPL. with a 148.3dB.
but I can't listen to this system. it's only for SPL in a trunk car.
Hope this helps out.

as a regular daily setup. I think it will be a 130db max depending on the spl meter used.

thanks to you 2, i pulled off a 138.3db best out of my 2 runs, and i had someone look at my setup who said i prolly could have gotten a lil more if i turned my sub facing the trunk at about midway, but thanks again!!!! it's pretty fun btw
edit...got my system checked out having it facing toward the trunk lid midway in the trunk, seats folded down, and using just a regular cd, i got 144.8db redaing off that meter, so for today i'm happy with my results!!!!
