i'm very interested in this head unit for my 05 gls sedan...

the JVC Arsenal KD-AR560

the reason i like this unit is because i dig the design, and the oh so important front panel aux jack for my mp3 player.

i was wondering if anyone has had any experience with it, and if so what's their opinion about the unit?

or anyone in general, have any comments?

also... i noticed crutchfield doesnt have the best prices but they include "everything i need for installation". is this true?

ive found it cheaper at bestbuy and circuit city, but their websites say it wont fit on my car. i asked a sales guy at circuit city and he said he wasnt sure why this is the case, but suggested it may be that they dont yet have the proper brackets/etc for the 05.

can anyone verify this? because if bestbuy/circuit city doesnt have it, how does crutchfield have all the right stuff?

i'm just a little bit confused and would really appreciate it if someone could clear some stuff up for me.

I have a JVC KD-G800 and I find it great. I didn't like the broken factory Clarion unit I had and I had no issues with JVC in the past so I went back to them. The reason CC and BB says it won't fit your car is because it will leave a gap, or possibly the motorized flipdown gets stuck, in my case it was getting stuck, so I just put some washers in behind the Elantra's factory bracket and no more issue. Fits, looks and sound great.

^so should i just install it myself with the kit that crutchfield provides? or will bb/cc install anyways and i just gotta add some washers?

I always go for the self install. I think it is just me. It should work out though.
