I just got a JVC head unit and i'm gonna take out the new one.. do i have to disconnect the battery for an hour or can i just unplug it. I know some radios if u just take them out they won't work anymore.. Mostly the newer ones i guess.. i have an 01 i was just wondering...

no need to disconnect the battery, but it's always a good idea for safety. but it won't affect the radio either way.
