Until recently, I have been fiddling aound with the idea of getting a remote start/ alarm system. This has only been a thought until recently when I caught some people trying to break into my car. My goal is to spend as little as possible. Yes, it may sound cheap, but Im on a tight budget since school and some other things came up. Ive picked out 8 car slarms/remote start systems on ebay. Ive pretty much picked out the one I want, but wanted some other people to take a look and give me some opinions. And please, dont flame me about the pricing, its all I can afford for now.

Go with option 3 cuz it's the most recognizible out of all the names..... If you don't get that one I might.

as 4mynika said, go for #3, the avital. it's actually a very good unit (parent company was clifford, new parent company is DEI). stay away from the others, they are off-brands and unreliable. and there will be no customer support whatsoever. DEI support is actually very good.

If I was you I'd get the Avital 3300. Don't bid more than $100 though!
Seems like everyone agrees so far. :)

Definitely go with the Avital. I had one of their alarms years ago. It was very basic as far as features, but good quality.

*edit* The one you're looking at is light years ahead of the one I had in terms of features. That 3300 should be a great alarm.
