About the transmission, according to this post: http://www.elantraxd.com/forums/showpost.php?p=12736&postcount=13 supposedly the Elantra 5 speed and the 2.7L 5-speed are the same part number. Maybe the 2.7 V6 6-speed bolts right up?

Guys, that is a Korean car. Mostly stock 2005 (maybe 2006, I'm not sure if the blue was offered over here last year, I've only seen it recently, but it already has more than 3k KM which is a lot to put on a Korean car in a couple of months) Avante XD Racing. The shift knob is just for show. I'm rather impressed that there are only a few stickers on it. It's absolutely amazed in fact that he (or she) had the brains to get a 2.0 AND not to make it look ugly. The whole thing, aside from the shift knob, is very Un-Korean. :)

yeah i sit at just under 4000 at 90 ...3000 for 70 sounds about right
