Last night I go out and start my car and the low-beams will not go on. My interior lights, turn signals, side marker lights, and taillights all work properly. Even my high-beams work. At first I thought it might be a fuse, but then wouldn't the high-beams not work either? Please help me.
Check the fuse....if it is the fuse, figure out why. they don't pop on their own.
Then check the bulb. Although very uncommon, both bulbs can pop at the same time.
Then I'd check connections, grounds and anything that might be interupting the powerflow of the circut. And if it isn't the bulbs to maybe bring it in for warrenty.
well, checked the fuse and then used a test light to test the harness that plugs into the headlight bulb...and there is power. Guess both bulbs burnt out at the same time (or i got a short). To the mechanic tomorrow.
i say get some el cheapo headlights and try those, and if they dont light, then there is a short. i personally think that both just died at the same time
yeah its not uncommon it seems for both lights to go at the same time in our cars. its also not uncommon for one to die one day and the other die the next. this happens to me all too often.
My Lights went out the other night too Coming home from Work and the High beams worked but Lows did not smae as your problem ended up being My Sylvania Silverstars that I just put in before winter I called the company and chewed them out real good they are refunding me my 30$ Never Again will I buy Lights like that Now to find some decent ones that wont burn out within 3 months
Yeah then you can change them yourself, easy excuse to snoop under that hood. I love underhoods...but not as much as underwear. (girlie underwear...)
