Apparently coming in all 2013 Nissans they have the TPMS hooked up to the horn so that when you are at appropriate tire pressure it'll honk the horn to let you know.
Great for the person who is clueless when it comes to cars. Although "idiot proof" is a stretch. You can idiot proof something all you want, but the're still people out there that will manage to **** it up.
Dont get me wrong, I think it is cool, but I feel like this could go terribly wrong quiet easy.
If people are relying on it and something is wrong with the horn or with the sensor then tires can blow up in peoples faces(I know its a stretch, im just saying...)or the horn could constantly go off.
How can it be quiet if it's using the horn? I think it will be quite loud.
quiet = a noun meaning “tranquility” or “silence” quite = an adverb and has the sense of “totally” or “completely.”
With that said, I think it's a cool idea but just another feature that makes it easier for idiots to drive.
