Here are the pics from today's meet. I apologize for some quality problems as I am still trying to mess around w/ the manual mode on my camera for pics taken at night.

Doohickie and Sleepergt were the first ones to get to the place, and then when I got there I saw this on the ground. I didn't want to know the story whatsoever

All in all I'd say it was a pretty good meet. We need more people to come though.

Anyway, hope you guys had fun meeting one another. I'll have to make it to one of Fixer's SoCal meets sometime.

Paki, if you're trying to mess with the manual mode or scene selection mode, you might need a tripod when taking night shots due to the longer exposure time. It's almost impossible without a tripod because any movement whatsoever will cause a blur.

Either that or you can practice holding your breath, and with the right timing take the picture when you're steady. Sorta like in some FPS games when you're sniping and there's a "steady" button.

Here are my pics and my photographic ability similarly sucks. Note that at least I cropped out the used condoms, though.

I got there at about 6:30, figuring I was way late. I drove around Entrance 3 for a while until I noticed another Elantra driving around. We pulled up to each other and it turned out to be Sleepergt. So we stopped there and waited to see who else would show. I got my camera out, but there were only two of us so far (me and the Red Rocket on the left).


So Sleepergt showed me his engine, including his CAI. Note that he mounted his 05 MAF sensor between the two silver sections of intake tube.


Then, Paki showed up, ready to show of his XD with CAI. Would you buy a used Elantra from this guy?

I always find it interesting to see people, or pictures of people, after I think I already know them. You start to get an image in your head sometimes, and then you see a picture and it is nothing like what you thought. Crazy.

they are Force BT-3's off of wheelmax.com. I got them with Kumho Ecsta 711's, shipped to my door, for $744. hey that rhymes. must be the "ice cube" in me lol
