How to roll your fenders.
This was done with a couple tools from Tirerack...
Fender Lip Rolling Tool

Steinel IntelliTemp Heat Gun

I bought the tools but I believe you can rent these tools from Tirerack as well.
This can only be done to the rear fenders, because there is no lip to roll up front. So here we go...
1.) Loosen the lug nuts on your rear wheels
2.) Jack up the rear of your car and place it on jack stands
3.) Remove the lug nuts and the wheels
4.) Install the fender rolling tool over the wheel studs and fasten it with the lug nuts, and adjust the tool to get it started
5.) Heat the edge of the fender with the heat gun set to 300 degrees (it can probably take more heat but I followed the sticker removal guidelines to be safe)
6.) Release the parking brake
7.) Grab the arm of the tool and rotate it back & forth to start the initial rolling of the lip. Be careful not to bend too much at a time and check your work frequently as you go.
8.) Readjust the angle of the wheel for a sharper bend and reheat and repeat step 7.
Once you're done it should look something like this...
I didn't roll it all the way down the left side of the fender because I wanted the fender to keep some of its strength. And along the right side is the plastic bumper and unfortunately I don't think you can roll that too successfully. But nevertheless doing this gave me probably around 5mm of extra clearance for my tires.
Another note... I accidentally flared out the fenders slightly without realizing that I was doing it. It's not too bad, but that's why it's important to check your work as you go.![]()
