crank-flywheel is 90-110 ft/lb. pressure plate/flywheel is probably about 35, and id go about the same on the bell housing. the last 2 im not positive, but the flywheel/crank is correct

i thought you had access to webtech?

I do, but I spent an hour looking for the numbers but all i could find were the starter/bellhousing specs. I guess I was looking in the wrong place.

All I really need now is a torque wrench. autozone doesn't rent them LOL....

lol it's not a "basic tool". If it costs over $50 it isnt a "basic tool"

hmaservice.com in the shop manual states that the clutch cover bolts should be tightened to 11-16 ft/lbs. in a star pattern.

    Hope this helps...

I bought my torque wrench for $13 at Harbor Freight (I'm a lucky SOB that has a brick&mortar storefront in town).

And YES it is QUITE necessary when doing practically ANYthing on a car.

11-16 is right for the pressure plate to flywheel bolts.. 35 will strip the flywheel. Ask ryanolson, betaswap guy. He tore up a flywheel doing that.

book says 90-96 on the flywheel

I have yet to find the right torque spec in the book for the bell housing but I went with 35 and mine turned out ok.

You really need a torque wrench when dealing with stuff like this. Not setting things to there proper torque will cause problems later. Its to easy to get it right the first time.

Do you ever take your wheels and tires off? Don't you use a torque wrench to put them back on? Maybe that is what happened with your girlfriends car when the wheel came loose and the studs broke.
