Default Dash and guage lights dont work

    Help!
I was changing my light bulb for the glove box and i didn't see it light up anymore. I looked and my head lights were on like normal but no guage lights would light. I just finished driving my car like 30 minutes ago and it didn't work. I just checked all the fuses and everything. What could it be.
2006 hyunda elantra. 14000 miles on it. Manual Transmission.
Please help me, i need to see my speed when i drive to work tomorrow evening.

Do all your marker lights work? If they are also out, especially if only the ones on the right side are out, check Fuse 6 in the passenger compartment fuse box (the one inside the car behind the coin bin that is just to the left of the steering wheel). The illumination lamps (including gage lights and glove box light) are on that circuit. If you accidently touched the hot side of the glove box lamp to ground while changing the bulb, it would blow the fuse.

This is where the passenger compartment fuse box is located.

Here is a picture of the passenger compartment fuse box. Fuse 6 is on the top row (which is partially hidden in this picture due to the camera angle), the sixth one from the left.

It could also be the panel dimmer switch. Located just under the driver's side air vent.

Hey i apologize. I did an extensive search. It was fuse 6 for the left rear light. i dont know how it ended up blowing the left rear but oh well.
