A Few Question I Need Help With

1. I was looking at kspec's site and it stated that if the vehicle had cruise control, the strut bars wouldn't fit. Are there strut bars that will fit?

2. Anyone know where to get brake pads for relatively cheap? I went to a local shop and they didn't have them in stock and wanted to charge me $50 for the pads and $10 for the shipping.

3. hmmm... I think that's all I had to ask for this section. Any help would be appreciated.

Thats about average for good pads, no matter what make you get. In the past I always got them from Napa, and will probably continue doing this, unless I go for some performance pads.

There are a few strutbars out there that fit with the cruise control, I don't remember which ones though.

Well that kinda sucks. I remember that I got pads for my blazer (front and rear) for $50. Well I did save thousands on the car so I can't really complain. The Strut bar thing sucks too because I go on plenty of road trips and cruise control is not something I'm willing to part with.

I can't really help out with your brake pad question since I haven't upgraded that yet, but one bar that will fit an XD with cruise control is the RRM strut tower bar. I went to the actual place and bought it from them and they charged me $89 out the door wiith no tax and were even nice enough to install it for me. The bar made a bigger improvement than I had initially thought it would.

Do they have a website or anything? I noticed your from CA, I'm in FL so there's no way I'm driving that far to get a strut bar. Brake pads I just figure I'll pay the $60 and get them cause I basically have no other choice.
