If that the same one that Da illest one had,it will not work.I got that same one from my friend and never used it,so I sold it to him(Daillestone). He installed it and found out it was smaller in diameter than the stock one and ended up bending valves.I was unaware of the size difference and felt bad so I refunded him his money and he got a new engine out of the deal.So yea, make sure it is the same size

Yes, I agree with Silentwolf, must know if it's worth it and it works with the CVVT.

its installed. it's slightly heavier than the oem cam gear. I haven't "tuned" it + or - yet, i'm not sure what i'm going to do about that.

Heavier? thats weird.Anywho,I take it that the adj gear was the same size as stock. Now you need to experiment with it.

honestly, i'm afraid to because our motors are interference motors.

The cam gear lets me adjust up to 20 degrees in either direction.

CVVT has the ablilty to alter the intake cam up to 40 degrees.

For me to safely tune the timing, i need to know at what crank angle do the vavles come in contact with the piston, so i can avoid going past that point

And until I find that out, I don't plan on touching it. (well maybe a max of 2 degrees)
