wich rims look better?

17x7 BSA's with 225/45/17 rim with tire weights about 40+ lbs (heavy) bad for gas and slows down the car too.

17x7 5zigen Fno1r-c with 215/45/17 got these from Josh k (these are about 25 lbs with tires on them)

thanks guys, im glad you like the rims. i guess i'll be keeping the 5zigens on then. i just wanted to see if others think the bronze 5zigens look good on a silver xd,

I personaly love the look of the bronze 5zigens on a silver XD and i think that once i add the side skirts and eibach springs its going to look even better.

so i guess ill be selling my bsa's and i also have some 18inch racinghart C2 style rims that also need to go. just dont have room for them anymore.

the Bsa's are not chrome they are silver , but they kinda shine a bit with the light because the lip on them is reflective.

i just got them 2 days ago. not selling them yet, i just ordered a set of new tires for them too, still waiting for the tires to arrive.

i just hoped that you guys voted for the 5zigens wich you all did because i really like them but i already had 2 people tell me that the rims dont look right on my car because they are bronze. then again they where elderly and out of date with modern style . LOL (my neighbors)

I can't find the thread now, but I thought I recently read that 5zigen wheels tended to be quite soft and bent easily. However, disregarding this I would go with light weight wheels.

yeah thats what josh k said.(the guy i bought them from) i saw his car in the car of the month section under 2005/april and i have like those rims ever since but recently he just parted his parts from his car due to upgrading to a new car and so i drove to his house and bought almost everything he had.

the 5zigens where said to bend like butter but i dont see a problem with them. only defects they had was a couple small dents and some small curb rash, 2 bald tires and 2 with 2/32 tread but 1 has a bump on the top also but nothing major that can't be fixed, plus i could not pass up the price either.

I like the 5zigen wheels the best I think.

The BSA wheels are alright, but I have heard that the quality of the clearcoat on them is very substandard, with most of them peeling in less than a year...so you are making the right choice with the 5zigens in my book.

This is a good thread for Cypher, hes all about symetry so I am sure he would go for the BSA in that respect....but he likes the bronze colors so he may pick the 5Zigen...

I think the 5Zigens look great on your car (as well as the other mods you got from me). I'm sure your car is noticeably faster with them as well - not to mention you can take better advantage of the performance boost as you have the 5 speed.

I never thought I'd say this but I'm really going to miss my XD :0(
