I agree with DJ, but the book also wasn't the best one, but gave important information. I went to the midnight showing the night it was released.

I like the movies. Not worth watching in the theater but they are entertaining.

    Harry Potter is popular.

Just for fun I placed the new book on hold at the library. And, here is what it said.

"Your position in the holds queue: 1442"

Basically that means it'll take MONTHS before it's available to someone placing a hold now. I don't even want to read it, I just want to see how long it takes.

Midnight showings are fun. I was at one on Tuesday and worked the next morning. The theatre we went to was pretty cool about it.

I'd pick up the 7th book when it comes out, but the moment of its release coincides with the moment of me being able to legally drink, so guess which one won...

One of the guides that works at the tour company I'm interning at said she'd pick me a copy and bring it to the bar we'll be at.

I've never much been into books on CD, although I've recently taken to listening to lectures on CD during long road trips. "The great courses series", not quite sure who does them, but they're a great way to pass time and learn a few things too.

OMG, I hate them. My wife listens to them. There are too many cd's. She reads all the books and the little sub books with the hints. She is the reason I have even heard of Harry Potter.

Extra dork. People always check those out from the library though, so they must be pretty popular.

For the record, I've listened to books on CD before. I like it when it's an autobiography and the person themselves is the one reading it. I like it.

hey...its cheap education! So far I've learned about the works of C.S. Lewis, and am currently working on the life of St. Francis of Assisi...and I have a 12 disc series on the Crusades waiting for me afterwards.

There are many worse things we could all be watching than Harry Potter.
