Is it possible to get this street legal? I mean I can keep up with traffic no problem, all I'd have to do is put a windshield on it and It's pretty much a motorcycle with 4 wheels.
just ask yourself, is a quad street legal? Lol. thats a nice go cart but i doubt it can be driven on the streets, I bet its alot of fun off road though!
You're gonna need a windshield, wipers, DOT approved rims and tires, front and rear brakes, some type of emmisions reduction system, rearview mirrors, rear license plate mount and light for the plate, 3rd brake light, high beams, a horn, noise complient muffler, insurance and registration. Anyone car to add anything I may have missed?
I know that in Texas, you don't have to have a windshield, but you do have to have working windshield wipers. Funny huh?
Back to the matter at hand, I don't think that you would be able to make it street legal. I don't think that any insurance co. would insure it, but you neve know until you ask.
I know my dad took our quad to work a few years back, was street legal, I think he just put a squeeze bike horn somewhere and some crappy mirror of the handle bars =P.
A BIT old? 4 years. Kizzo hasn't even logged on here in over 2 years.
