I just recieved a pair of JBL 5-1/4 " full range drivers

frequency response: 85Hz-18k Hz

so will these fit my front door sedan or no?? and do you think they will be better then my stock speakers? i really do not know anything about audio.

I bought my headunit from crutchfield, but it was deeply reduced (because I knew it was about to be discontinued). Other than that they are overpriced, but a good resource.

yes they will fit you will just need to make a mdf spacer to fit them in, yes they will sound better then stock but might be lacking abit of midbass as they are only 5inch.

OR, you could at least call them for application/fitment guidance, and buy the adapters from them. They will run you about $20 and you will also receive detailed instructions and diagrams. THAT is why they are "supposedly" expensive, because they cover the details. Their customer service and guidance is well worth it, you get what you pay for, man.

Dont get the speaker adapters from crutchfield. they suck

they use a universal GM adapter. they are a big PITA and after alot of work they still dont fit right and the plastic adapter rattles against the metal frame

I hate adapting speakers it usually winds up to be trouble. Buy stuff that fits the first time, save yourself the anguish.
