The Weekend House-Yough Lake

I figured I would share some pictures of the weekend house my family has. We bought this thirteen years age and have done alot of work to get it to where it is. Everything in the kitchen was done by my father and I, as well as the addition. Enjoy.

This thread has motivated me to start looking for waterfront property again. I thought I had the perfect place last summer, but they didn't allow any gasoline powered watercraft on the lake - so boo to them.

There need to be precautions in place to keep what's left of the already fragile fishery and environment intact.

i duno, there is something to be said about a lakeside property without motorboats trolling around all the time. you can go and sit at the late edge and chill around the edge and enjoy the sounds of nature..

that sounds totally lame.. lol . but i really do enjoy scenery and calm water and stuff, so i can see how it is appealing to some. Course if i had the money to own a lakeside place, then i could prolly afford a boat too, and in that case. screw it! id want to be out there all the time heh
