Dupli-color caliper paint is pretty good and inexpensive. I did notice some rust spots on mine after a winter of salt roads, doubtful this will effect you in Cali.

I used blue duplicolor caliper paint in a spray can.
You can also use the duplicolor engine paint in a spray can, there are alot of colors to choose from

The G2 brush on 2-part paint system is your best bet if you don't want to have to do it more than once a year.

I used high temp (500*) engine spray paint 4 years ago. Still on and mostly intact still after 4 harsh salt-infested winters.

^Ditto.... I just did mine and used the 500 Engine paint so it could take the heat and they look great and really don't get too dirty...

I bought mine when I worked for A-Z... back in 1999. Used it on rear drums on 4 different cars, the calipers on the Elantra, Swift and Accent.

Well, Bob is senior (read: old), after all...glad to know he gets around though!

Definitely use a high heat paint, whatever you go with. Minimum 500 degree paint.

5-6 bucks a can. thats really a half *** DIY.

when i got my tiburon calipers, i spent like a day doing them so it was done right. put them in a vice, wire brushed the **** out of them...probably spent 3 hours IIRC. got them down to a shiny silver. 3-4 coats of gray primer from a rattle can, then another 4 or so coats of red caliper paint, rattle can again. they always looked sweet, and i could spray them down if they looked dirty and they shined again...

this has to be right after they were done, because it doesnt look like i had driven with those rotors except to pull the car out of the garage.

Meh. I did mine in an hour with the Duplicolor brush-on stuff. The paint is lasting pretty well.

^ Damn I wish my GT wheels looked that clean!!! Almost look white. I was thinking of doing this. Wanted them Powder coated but Unfortunately I would have to rebuild them and I don't want to do that. I was thinking of the Duplicolor caliper Paint kit. You think I should use some type of Primer?? or Clear them after wit high Temp clear???
