Default Painting headlight surrounds - gloss or matt black?

    Hey guys,

I have my spare set of headlights fo the XD2 apart on the bench for some LED work on the indicators and parking lights, and just wondering which is the best black to paint the back surrounds. A Gloss or Matt black?

I am leaning towards matt, as gloss will tend to show up any imperfections too easy and may not quite give the look I am after.

For those people that have done their's, did you use a matt black, or gloss black?

My car is EB Ebony Black in colour, if that makes any difference to opinion of what may look best.

    cheers

^ yeah that does look nice.

if i were going to paint them it would be body color....so it would be gloss for me...especially if your car is black

I've done gloss, matte and satin finish. I'm don't know which one I like more. the elantra was matte. The accent I did in satin and the the Honduh is done in gloss black. I like the look of the accent the most, mostly because those headlights look so mean and aggressive as hell. I'll have to take pictures of the accord so I can throw all 3 of them up for comparison.
