I honestly would never find a way to spend that much money on a Elantra or any car. I could put 20-30k into an Elantra and make it the most beastly XD there is. Wouldn't do that either though.

I would buy my old XD back wherever it is, do a real suspension to get it sitting hellaflush on some 17s with upgraded brakes, fix all the dents and paint issues it was having as well as body. Rebuild the engine, and then engine and have a nice reliable DD and dump the rest into the 240 and wrx.

I'd buy myself a house, Said and done. LOL! Even though we know 125k won't get much for a house, I only need something to start with, Then I can BUILD ON! Much like any motor vehicle...You get a starting ground, Then you play with it to fit your needs/likings.

Im thinkin hatchback, gut it out completely, tube chassis, mount a supercharged tau v8 midship, throw power to all 4 wheels, button it up to as street car looking as possible, full interior ect, and proceed to scare the crap out of people.

even the 3.8 would do work, and would probably be easier and cheaper to do. but i like that idea.
i wonder if a sedan conversion to a lift back, would be possible... just like they did on the coupe. turned the trunk into a full hatch... same idea here... only because i like the shape of the sedan better.
