Well, it was a rough start - but just gotta say james - you did good. VB4 is pretty nice, bugs are being sorted, look and feel are good, all in all, good job man.

Thanks Tommy. The front page still needs quite a bit of work, I'll get to that once appropriate mods are available to me. I check the vB sites daily to look for new stuff and replacements for the old stuff.

Not to pile on, but am I the only one who doesn't like having to click "reply" then "go advanced"? I miss being able to choose whether to "quick reply" or regular "reply". Clicking "reply" should open the "advanced reply" window. The quick reply window is at the bottom of the page already. If I click "reply", it just moves my cursor down to the "quick reply" box (like 1/2 inch away from the "reply to thread" button.

I agree, I think the same thing happens when you EDIT your post, you can't just save it, you have to go to Go Advanced as well. I'll see if they are going to be switching that or not.

Nevermind, maybe you can just Save. Hmm. I've seen it somewhere.

and agreed, things are much smoother now then the day i came back from my hiatus.
i initially hated it because it was different, and as we all know. different things are bad.
but it grew on me and has been working pretty well.

I like all the new features and things seem to be smooth, but as far as just styling of the site itself, i still think the vb3 look is my fav of all forums on the web.
