    Default Finally mounting amps/cap :)

Just posting some pics...after a few hours of work today and yesterday I finally got my amp rack temporarily mounted. At least I got all the holes drilled into the trunk and got the board up...now just got to get all my connections and make a cover for that space to the right of the rack (where I will store some shop rags, a bottle of 10-30, flashlight, etc.)

If you look closely you can see the tib multigauge in the second pic...just pointing it out cause I like that accessory the most

you can always make a simple rack cover out of wood, especially since your mounting location is pretty straightforward.

southpaw makes a good point you could make it out of wood and either carpet it or wrap it in vynil, looks good, are you still going to mount a 10 in the tib box you had?

I used .5 inch MDF for the wall.....and jjos, I actually picked up a 10" sealed Q-logic box to use instead (until I can make an enclosure for my sub on the other side of the trunk early next year)!

Looks sweet! Love the chrome look finish! Now all you need is a bit of fibreglassing to cover the top!

I am currently working on a box for a 10in w7. I can send you pics of the finished product and give you dimensions if you want. It should fit right in the left corner.
    BTW setup looks nice.
The box I am working on is 1" thick mdf board and will have a volume of 1.32 sq ft. It will be pretty big, what type of sub are you installing?
