    Default p.o.s. winter car (domestic)

it figures. i buy my winter car, a 91 chevy corsica 3.1lt. i passed up on a deal for a 91 elantra. i must have been dumb that day. 2 cars, both great deals. same price $1800, both under 80,000 miles. i didnt drive 3 hrs to look at elantra, i drove 10 min to buy chevy. BIG MISTAKE! i bought a domestic piece of $hit. never again will i ever buy domestic cars. changed thermostat(not there), and water pump. no problem. cant get coolant air-pocket out.
i think they took out thermostat for leaky head gaskets? B.S. i hate when ppl deceive ppl into buying crap thats broken. if the guy was upfront and told me bout the heads . i still would have bought car, but i would not have paid as much. thanks for letting me b!tch. wow that was fun lol

domestic front wheel drive cars have always been questionable on quality.
Should have bought a truck or old cop car!

But don't buy a RAV4, they like to catch on fire (personal experience!) RAV4

i had a 96 corsica before this elantra...ran good even at 15x,xxx miles...i was pissed that i had to replace the water pump (300$) and i had some other stupid thing couple months earlier so i figured id just get a new car instead...it wasnt a bad car at all...about as fast as the elantra (raced a kid i know with a beretta, which is the same car and i beat him by a car and a half)...i wish i still had that car for work lol...

Old GM front-wheel drive cars crap? Apparently you guys have never had the pleasure of cruising in a 1985 Oldsmobile Cutlass Ciera Brougham. Drive one.....you'll get it.

well 300 miles on pos winter car, and no over heating problems. also 70mph on freeway and all is good. not bad 10.00 headgasket repair stuff saved me 1500.00 for heads to be done on car.
