Default i know im not the only one..

Alright, so I just upgraded my audio system.

I have two 10 inch comp kicker subs and a 4 channel hifi Massive amp, with a Pioneer HU. I went through the normalish problems of no power to the HU or the clock, check/recheck/and check the splicing again. Everything checked out, exchanged the adaptor harness for a new one, and still has no power. Check the audio fuse. It was blown. Awesome. Change it, great system. I'm super happy. Everything works.

...except for my cluster. My lights don't work. I can't read my speedo, gas gauge, nothing. I also cant see the ac, or the heat/cool lights. The clock works still, but those lights don't. Neither do my right drl and my right sidemarker. I checked the right taillight fuse, and that was blown. I changed it and nothing. I also changed the #25 fuse. Nothing. My dome lights work also.

Am I missing a fuse, or are the chances that I have a short, or something?

Also, I apologize for any typos. I'm on my phone and it takes a bit to proofread and I'm lazy.

Did you install it yourself/with friends, or by an audio shop?
They ran over my car, quite literally.

By myself. I didn't want to pay the $150+ for install at a shop. Plus we ran the amp power/ground/av/rem/and speaker wires at the same time.

Left side of the dash on the fascia that you have to remove to get to the radio. Did you forget to plug back in that dimmer switch?

    Check fuses 6 & 7.

Well, I'm sure I clicked it in correctly, as it worked for a day after. But when it stopped working, I noticed as I turned the car on because my HU had reset itself and I had to go through the set up process again. Then I saw that my one drl was out, and I was informed of the sidemarker later. And at night my dash lights wouldn't turn on.

I'm pretty sure I replaced the 6 and 7, and.I plugged it in correctly, but i'll double check in a few minutes.

If all the lights are out it seems like a fuse thing . . . i know im not an electronics expert here but that is what i would say.

You said you already checked fuse 25, also that your clock and dome lights are working. That's good signs that fuse 25 is good. But 25 is what keeps the settings in your radio. So if 25 is good, then the two power wires (red-yellow) Ign power and all times power on the radio are reversed.

Double check those wires on the HU, and fuse 25. Though 25 sounds like it's ok a double check won't hurt.

Well I just checked everything. 6 and 7 I put new fuses in, and the wires are correct on the radio. 25 is brand new as I replaced it before, and the dimmer switch is plugged in. I'm stumped. And a bit lost.

The wires and the fuse are good. It only did it that once, it hasn't since I changed the fuse. It keeps its settings unless I pull the fuse, now.

Is there the chance its a short somewhere?

It could have shorted while you were doing the install. So as long as nothing is exposed now, it should be good and only issue would have been popping the fuse.

Are the gauge lights, DRL, etc... still not working?

No, they still aren't working. I'll grab some photos of what's not working tonight.

I'm just really frustrated is all.

I might. I'm staying at a different house than my own so i'd have to search for it in the garage if there was one.
