theres other companies you could use if u want a minimal drop like eibach...for instance i believe its ARC just came out with a lowering spring similiar to eibach.
i just saw those ARK springs. they are called the GT-F and its advertised as a 1.2" drop just like the eibach. i think those will be my choice now.
well just got a set of eibachs on ebay for 225 shipped. ill post up when i get them installed. i cant wait, exactly what i wanted in the begining!!!

Hope you like your springs. I have heard great things about the eibach springs.
They ran over my car, quite literally.
^^^ Nice to see the both of you again. kevin you will enjoy the Eibachs. I have them with Tib Eibach struts, 19 mm Tib rear sway bar and urethane sway bar bushings. When I had the 225/50/15 g-sports the car handled like on rails. I have all seasons 205/55/15 now, but it still does great on the road.
If you two paid attention, you would have realized that the platform is great for suspension mods, but not for NA engine upgrades.

i am excited for the complete suspension combo of springs/struts/sway bar. i have also bought an extra set of front control arms to do a poly fill on the front bushing to tighten the front end.
as for the engine mods, im sticking with my intake, header, UD pulley and nitrous combo as previously discussed and will post results once i get a free weekend to bug my friend at the dyno for a few runs.
on another note, i think the tires will be the deciding factor about how the car will handle with my driving style. im going to stick to the cheaper end of the 205/55r15's but find a tire with a more squared off tread design to reduce rollover in the corners. i have been checking out the kumho ecsta's as my tire choice and if i can get a great deal will be installing them soon.
photos to come when the springs go in.

Where did you find the Eibach springs? Supposedly they have been out of production for a while now. I loved them on my 2002.

The spring/strut/swaybar combo eliminated most of the body roll, and depending on what tires you get you will truly notice a difference.
I was on cooper tires when I originally did the springs, struts, and sway bar, now I have some stickier Toyo proxes4's and GT radial champiro's it never seems to exceed grip and doesnt squeal and slide in the front like it did with previous tires.
They ran over my car, quite literally.
the kumhos are one of the stickier 205's with a 240 treadwear rating, so they are soft.
oh and i got them on ebay for 175.

I have about 3 K miles on the kumho ecsta 4X 205/55/15 and they are okay. Dry they are fine, wet so far no slips or ABS kicking in, but nothing like the g-sports. They are a very quiet tire.

exactly what i wanted to hear! the 195/60 hankooks i have now i believe are way past the heat cycle use as they are starting to make a ton of noise. tread wise they are ok.

Trust me...the Kumho's suck i burned through a whole set of them before a year was up. Granted i drove a little hard on them, but thats what happens when u do up your suspension.
I also hated my Kumhos. They didn't wear evenly. Could have been my suspension at the time, but all four were junk within two summers.
....and yes I had them aligned lol
i just got my eibach springs today!!!! they will go in next week along with the prothane poly motor mount that i got early last week.
