okay got code p138 is this the first o2 sensor or the second one? how much will it hurt to run with this code for a 6 hour trip some running around and the 6 hours home?

P0138 is the second o2 sensor. I've heard multiple things but as far as I know, and someone please correct me if I am wrong, our cars only use the 1st o2 sensor to adjust air/fuel ratio. The second one is just for ensuring your cat is functioning properly. I'm not 100% if it would mess with the A/F ratio but the worst would be you'd run a bit rich so I think you'd be fine on your trip. If you can, check your rear o2 sensor for any frays because usually that code either means their is a short or the heating element inside is starting to go bad.

yeah the first one is the main one and does most of the work, that's why i wanted to make sure it was a code for the second sensor and not the first one.

Alright, cool. I had this code once but it was from a POS ebay knock off o2 sensor. The ad said it was one brand but I received some really cheap looking sensor and the wires going to the harness were wired all wrong. I drove around with it in their for 2 days before I pinned it down to that but I didn't notice anything wrong otherwise, except for the annoying CEL, lol.

If its secondary o2 sensor you should be able to drive on it with no issues
