weird issue

ok i going to best as i can describe my issue i have a 01 hyundai elantra gls starts fine everytime my issue is while driving my car like stutterds and it takes me down shiffting to get it to kick back then it works good for a while then theres sometimes where it completly dies while im driving it then it takes me pulling over and trying to start it maybe it wont start right away but after a try or 2 it right back to working also sometime ill be idling and it will just die not moving just die weird issue please help

Check spark plugs, spark plug wires, O2 sensor, fuel filter, fuel pump. It could be a lot of things. I suggest starting by going to a store like autozone and having them run the codes. Let us know if anything new comes up.
