Hi All!

As it already is obvious, i am new to the forums. Quite frankly, I am new to alot of the things at the moment.

1. First time I've had an accident that totaled my car so I had to get a new "used" one.
2. First time I had to deal with insurance companies.
3. First time I've ever bought a car despite driving for years. 2002 Elantra GT, 3 days so far.
4. Aaaannddd, first time here on a car forum.

That pretty much sums it up. I am very new to a lot of things especially concerning cars. Sure I can spot which car goes with which brand but that's pretty much it. Why am I here? Because so far I have been enjoying my "new" used car so much that I stumbled upon this little place!

I hope to learn a bit more about my car and ways to take care of it. Hopefully you guys will be kind to a little old newbie like myself

welcome to the forum! theres alot of really nice helpful people here and nobody bashes on the newbies. ive only been here since may and ive already learned alot. have any pics of it? any plans for it?

As far as exterior looks goes, i kinda like how it looks right now. I do want to get some tints for it and it benefits mostly my little family. Maybe a pair of HID lights later on but thats it for now

It is indeed super clean for an 02. I couldn't even believe it when I saw it at first.

Car looks real good for an 02 i just put in low beam 5K hids and im pretty happy with them. Tint is in my future too. Is it a 5spd or auto?

Nice! Any pics? I'd like to see what hids look like on the car.

Im also debating if I should buy a new radio for the car. Three speakers still sound great but I want an aux port for the radio. I could either buy a new radio that has.one or just have an aux port installed which would probably save me $100. I just have to find a nice place where the ugly wire won't be too much of an eye sore lol

they look kinda blue in the pic but theyre white 5K which has the whitest most useable light output then the other bulbs. i put in my old alpine headunit it def made a little improvement but i wana get some new speakers soon.
