Is the oil supposed to be black? I also noticed that my engine oil is low, and looks pretty dark on the dipstick.
Think my mechanic is ripping me off?
Im going to ask for my old oil in a can so I can see its quality at another place.

They ran over my car, quite literally.

my catch can fluid looks like a coffee color when i empty it ever time, don't know if that helps or not.
