I think it would look like this
I like low trucks.
I made this in like 20 minutes of being really bored.

They ran over my car, quite literally.
That is pretty awesome, but of it came with those wheels I'd drive it off a cliff.

I thought I did read somewhere that Hyundai was revisiting the 'ute idea. I think it was to be based off the next-generation Santa Fe, unless I am not remembering correctly and just making this up.

Sounds like you are making it up but I believe Krafcik recently said they never totally rule out any type of vehicle.
I also read recently that one of the other auto maker CEOs saying how he thought the small pick-up market might be something worthwhile. He talked about how young guys want a sub-$20K pickup and that hasn't been possible for a long time because the small pickups were priced to high and then at that point you could get a full size for almost the same price.

That is exactly what killed off the small pickup. Being that I own a "small" pickup (that's as big as a late 90's F150), I've been on several forums with this discussion. The small trucks kept getting bigger and bigger and more and more expensive. Full size trucks kept getting bigger too, but due to their commercial fleet uses their starting prices held. The majority of people looking for a truck usually look at capability first, comfort and features second. So a bigger/more-capable truck with plain-jane options can outsell a decked-out smaller model. It's why Ford isn't selling the Ranger here. Cheaper for them to sell more of one truck - the F150.

I read that article a few years ago and thought it was interesting.
I just thought last night that since the length of the XD elantra, it would make a really kick *** ute.
Kind of like the nissan sunny truck.
They ran over my car, quite literally.

Awesome Accent LC2 pickup from back in the day. Mike and maybe Matt have seen it before.

Haven't seen that one. That's cool. There's another Car/Truck in the background. El Camino!
