Hi all, this is my Time Slip from Wed 01/09/2010 at the Perth Motorplex.

    16.617@132kph.jpg

It is a '04 XD Elantra Auto Sedan with 30k kms on the clock in good nick.

    Exhaust:
I've added Pacemaker 4-1 tuned headers, Hi-Flow metal cat, 2" Exhaust, OEM long resonator, small rez from a Toyota 4WD and DYI Y-Piece going into a straight through SS can from a Merc.
I've also added a custom made tune-able 40" Side Band Resonator, to kill the Drone of death @ 2100rpm (76-83hz).

    Intake:
I made a custom RAM CAI using the resonator under the battery that takes it's feed from in front of the battery.
Made two openings that line up with the holes in the lower bumper and made a big opening in the tube that the air would normally go from the battery down into the box and up through the fender into the airbox.
Connect a 2 1/2" air hose from the base of the intake in front of the battery into the side of the airbox (Make a hole) once you have moved the battery all the way right towards the fender.
Thats it in a nut shell, but I removed the resonator and airbox to work on them.
Engine water heat bypass to TB.
    K&N Filter in stock box.
    Caltex 95 Octane.
    Standard plugs & leads.

    Thats the power side.
    215/45 17" on 17 x 7's

Comments: I feel as though if I could somehow get it to change at 6000rpm instead of a 'nosing over' 6500rpm, a mid to low 15 might be possible.
    Cheers.
    Rugby.

We need to get some 2011s out to the track to get some real life times, even if they aren't super fast.
