Some of you may remember the mirror problem I had and which was diagnosed as the ETACS being corroded... Because of diverses problems (insurance, warranty, time, etc...) I couldn't have it changed yet.
Today, my door light (the red one on the bottom) kept staying on while coming back from work. Thinking that it might drain my battery, I decided to take the bulb out. So, I park the car, get my tools, by the time I come back, the light isn't on anymore. I press the unlock button and my car lights don't flash, the doors don't open. I open it up with a key and thank god the alarm didn't come on.
I try to start the car, doesn't work, the alarm comes on. I take the key out and the alarm stops as soon as it is out of the starter.
Dealer is closed (Saturday), car will stay parked for at least 2 days until monday...
I am pretty sure that the ETAC corrosion screwed everything up... Any thoughts on this?
