hey guys just wanted to ask I'm looking at a Magnaflow 14415 4inch body , 2.25 inlet/outlet with a 2.5 core. This should work perfectly fine in place of the stock Resonator correct because I'm going with a Magnaflow SS muffler and wanted to go with 2.25 inch piping from the cats back but don't want to sound like a civic on crack.

I wouldn't see why it wouldn't sound fine.

If you are looking for a deep sound, leave the stock resinator. I haven't heard anything negative about them. I left it with a Magnaflow muffler, and mine sounds nothing like a civic on crack.

You would never be able to tell the difference between the stock and an aftermarket item like that, the gain from the aftermarket part will not give you that much more power. Just save your money and keep the stock

If you ever intend on going back to stock, buy an aftermarket resonator/glasspack. Otherwise use your oem second cat and stock resonator.

As faraco said, the gain will be so minimal that you would be wasting your money. Stick with the stock one, and save some dough.
