Hey fellow XD'ers, i guess you can take me off the Texas roll call and add me to VA. I'm currently in Alexandria. I look forward to meeting you guys. I did notice a lot more GT's in the Virginia/Maryland area than back home in Texas. What is there to do beside the touristic sights?

yea its crazy living here.....everything is high as hell.. so i have two roommates myself....so how do you like it so far?
Its alight, but a lot of people are jerks. Just today, i was slowing for the school zone and the a-hole behind me honked his horn. He looked pretty stupid waiting at the red light when i finally got up to him. Everyone is in a rush to get 1 car ahead. Otherwise it's been nice. Nice scenery and a lot of good looking women! Can anyone recommend a good university? What is the difference between college park and university park (university of maryland)?

Well, apparently there is UM College Park and another UM University Park. UMCP is national school and UMUP is a regional school. I guess i need to do more research. What fun stuff is there to do around here?

You picked Alexandria, good stuff. I hope the move went ok.

We'll probably be getting together for a small post Thanksgiving Taco Bell meet.

But yeah, traffic sucks, especially if you are going over the Wilson bridge (at least you got here after most of the construction has been completed in that area).

College for what reason? Looking at women? George Mason is good for that and education. It's in Fairfax.

Move went ok, the drive was looooong!!! I dont plan on doing that anytime soon! Taco Bell, i guess that as close to mexican food around here, i've been looking for a good mexican restaurant without much luck. Traffic isnt that bad unless there is an accident, but i guess it helps that im on the road at 630 am going towards maryland. I want to get my accounting degree while im here, and i want a cheap public university.

You need to go to El Paso in Springfield. It's very good Mexican. Or find an Anita's, it's "New Mexican" food but still very good.

George Mason might be your best bet. That or Nova (Northern Va Community College). The rest of the schools are in DC or University of Maryland.

Ha-Ha... Greg has to pay a state tax j/k :D

You know, if you get your accounting degree you could probably work here at the company I work for and move back... they took us out to Saltgrass last week and yesterday we had a Hooter's office party. You know you want to... lol j/k

If you decide to stay, to tide yourself over until Ro moves with you, you should probably get yourself a 360, a couple of games, beer, lube, and a couple pornos.
