What so you think of going with a lighter fly wheel?

I cannot recomend strongly enough against one. If it's a DD and sees lots of daily traffic then stay stock. I am going BACK to stock flywheel because of the utter annoyance and inconvienence.

i was quoted at around a G for clutch and synchros.
and if you pull the plate do you realy have to bleed the whole system like it says in teh diy?

YEs/no.... The easiest way to bleed the clutch system is let gravity do the work. But a second person to pump it a couple times and hold to ensure teh air is gone works too.

Synchro's require tearing hte trans apart. Not only are there more parts involved but about double the labor.

Have them put new axle seals in while they're in there. And learn to drive so the next one lasts longer. I replaced mineat 116k miles and was not easy on it...

im only at 35k. but i was fairly hard on it. but what did it in was teaching two chicks how to drive, and having a third who "knew" how to drive stick get better at it.

hrm.. if ida known it would cost around 1000$ to get me some would i do it again?..... probably..

I really love the painterly feel your digital coloring has. Also, I love all of the design work you've had on this thread. Keep on going!
