OK - I'm getting bored with the rims on my car now as i am starting to lean towards a tuning look more so than shiney chrome

Here's what i have now

And these are the new puppies i'm seriously looking at

The colour of the ones i will be getting are the (W.B.C) Black Chrome one which is located centre bottom of above pic

I should state that Zefiro kit is getting ordered within week or two as well so i think this whole package will lift my cars looks to the next dimension

What you guys reckon?

I like the MGM's a little better, but I know you like chrome, so I guess that'll work for you.

Ohhh.....and before you guys ask size will be 18"x7.5" in whatever offset i like as these wheels are a custom order job
This will not be a cheap exercise, at $660USD per rim they come in the richter scale at $3345AUD for me and that's without shipping costs

These prices are off Final Stage Auto's website so over next month or so will be doing a lot of research to see if i can get from somewhere else for a better price
Idealistically i am hoping to find an importer of the WORK range here in Aus

Won't go with new paint colour though
If car was staying black i would probably get the MGM's (gun metal) but unfortunately they will look horrid against new paint job

P.S - Don't even ask what colour, i've already let too much out ;)

As far as I know, none of the Work rims have the correct bolt pattern and offset to match our car, but then again you said you were custom making it? Do you mean custom order or custom make?

The Work rims are expensive, but they're some of the hottest rims from Japan.

definately hot. very expensive, but if you can shell out the cash, go for it. this might not be your kinda thing, but try lookin for an imitation of it, much cheaper, same look.

You got me thinkin now
On Final Stages it says HERE (http://store.finalstageauto.net/woxsor.html) that they are a special order and if you look at the list of sizes it says e-mail in the lug pattern and offset coloums
I took this as being special order you had to e-mail them your stud pattern and offset but now you have me thinking maybe you e-mail them to get a list
Damn hope not or i'll be pissed

I've been lookin round for while for a rim that will set car right off with other mods and these are the ones i like the most out of them all so hopefully will work in my favour :conf:

Going to e-mail them now to find out

I think what they mean by special order is that these rims are high in demand and to get them, you have to special order from Japan. Being so expensive, most places can't afford to keep them in stock like other rims. For example, there's usually a waiting period to get Volk Rims depending on the make/model and size, and I've heard of some people waiting for more than 90 days. Works wheels are one of the most wanted brand in the tuner market.

Here are their wheels with specs:
http://www.work-wheels.co.jp/wheels/index/index.html

I guess it doesn't hurt to email them to see if your size/offset/bolt pattern is available.

Yeah your probably right there - I have sent e-mail away so just need to wait for an answer now

Imitations would be something i could look at if not made but seriously i haven't seen any that even come close
Guess i'll just have to wait and see how she all unfolds

If that's the style that you want, I believe 5zigen makes something very similar to it. I might have to do a search for that rim for you. They probably will not be as light as the Work rims. I'm not sure if the model you're looking at is forged or not, bu that's one of the reason why they're popular with tuners.

Yeah it is bit of $$$ to spend on wheels but if nothing else takes my fancy before purchase time comes then these will have to be it

I paid 3000 for ones on it now so hopefully will get round 2000 back on these and put that to price of new ones

Whatever style you go with, definitely go black chrom (hyper-black). It gives the metal a deep shine. That's why I went with mine in hyper-black.
Oh yeah, that's a crap load of cash!!
