2003 Elantra GLS Sedan. Having problems with starting Car. Just bought new Batter and same problem. I have to jiggle the
positive cable and then Car starts. I looked for cracks, etc. However the Cable is completely wrapped, and has some kind of small square boxes, like
something is inside of them. I heard it was a Link fuse. If those go bad, will they cause car not to start. Also not one more wire going to main fuse box
under hood, to a 100 amp fuse. I do not think it is fuse, as then nothing would come on. I did a continuity test from positive battery post to the the 100amp fuse
and it is not shorted. Anyone have this problem before. Thanks for Looking.

go to the parts store they have little lead caps that go over the battery post, then the wire goes back on.

I had a similar problem before, just briefly, but I was just about to swap out my battery terminals for Tsunami terminals. That fixed it.

mkjh, so you are saying it was the round metal cap that was the problem?
