Vsolo and I are around the York area. I live in Harrisburg, but I work in York every day. My dad's got the slicker of the two elantras, but mine's got more fancy OEM stuff. Heehee. You're not going to find many Elantra parts in York, I think, unless they're delivered to your door.

York sucks!

Hey, much as I may bash York, it can't be that bad, after all, I'm still in the area after 20 years, haha.

Evan, yeah, vsolo's my dad. He liked my '01 Elantra so much he bought a black GT the next year. To be fair, he's the one who pointed me in the direction of the Elantra in the first place, though.

Sorry dude, I'm an admin of the Do-It-Yourself section for a reason. Do it yourself. j/k ;) I don't muck around with modifying the powertrain at all, but have a look at my profile (in my sig) -- if there's anything in there you're interested in help with, I can offer a hand.

Putting the Tibby gauges in is the easy part... hooking them up to the ECU harness so that they all work is the hard part...

Well, I wrote the DIY on the tibby gauges (With much input from EXD as a whole), so you're in luck ;)

an aftermarket headunit does not pose a problem with the guages right? well its the wiring that worries me if i were to do it myself! what color does it glow?

Mine glows orange, like a Tiburon's interior. You can get them in green now, that way you wouldn't have to modify the color of everything in your dash. I've got a tiburon clarion stereo - it matches the multigauge. The rest of my dash, however... needs work ;)

hmmm... i'm thinking changing my gauge cluster over to blue via the SR blue LED, and my headunit glows red and blue...... would the orange or green look better with that?
