    Default indoor light mod

if you find a set of LEDs from the newer GM's that have the turn signals in the rear view mirrors, the led basket will sit right behind the red cover in the door panels, with spots for a pair of screws. ive got one door finished and trying to get a second led basket to finish the other front door, ill have pics up when i start on second door.

i intend to, thats why im waiting for pics when i do the second door since ive already got an excellent way of doing it

but its pretty simple, take out the stock light bulb, replace with a LED light holder out of a side mirror from lets say a 2008 denali (turn signals in mirror) and put two screws in the holder(holder has the correct spots for screws already) behind the little lens on the door panel and wire up the two wires

its just the LEDs, it doesnt flash, it stays on solid when you open the door, and the lights point upward towards the arm rest in an arrow.......they are alot brighter than the stock bulbs, and still use less power, create less heat in the doors, etc etc

Why dont you just get some LED bulbs that fit in the stock sockets?

less heat in the doors? seriously?

are you wanting it to be on all the time or what?

im just confused as to why

I actually used the same leds from a Yukon Denali to light up the tray in front of the shifter.

My name is Adam, not Jesus. But I don't have them pointed at my face, that would be stupid. Look at the bin in front of your shifter. See how there's a ledge at the front of it? I have it glued to the underside and it shines down.

still doesnt change the fact that those things are bright, and for me it would cause a driving distraction at night
