Hi there. I have a 2004 Elantra with 96k miles and now it seems that all hell has broken loose. I'm getting about a teaspoon of foam on the oil cap and a small line on the dipstick. I so far have replaced the spark plugs, replaced the air filter, and now I am going to take out and replace the pcv valve.
The car will idle for about 5-10 mins and then conks out. I do not want to rush ahead and blame it on the head gasket just yet. Tomorrow I am going to check the thermostat because there might be a coolant circulating issue too. I am running out of possible solutions.
Anyone have any ideas on the matter?
