of? whatchu talking about willis?

shawn :)

and i have a stick, a big stick.
unfortunately, i have an auto:( i couldnt find a manual in the color i wanted.
Stick :d

Unfortunately I got an Auto. I would've really loved a stick, but when buying used, you can only be so picky.
my very first stickshift... driving home from the dealer was awesome during a Friday rush hour on 270 & the Beltway near DC. My stickshift-driving friend in the passenger seat was kept highly entertained; she spent most of the trip either laughing her head off or screaming "CLUTCH!!" at me. Musta stalled half a dozen times.

and due to 1-2 grinding 'cuz of screwed-up synchros, they replaced the entire transmission last October at 10k, so I got a brand new clutch in place of the one I learned to drive on. woo hoo!
I took the only base model 5-speed on the lot... thankfully it was pewter, the color I wanted....

over 114,000 miles on the stock clutch!
XD stick. the woman dealer said "we can get you into an auto for about 1300 more" i was like "my last 2 cars were auto. i wont own another unless i have my left leg broken or amputated"
01 GLS, 5 speed.
01 auto. Thats the ONLY problem i have with the car.
This isn't a repost.

The question has been asked before, but not officially. Plus, it was a member request.

and I'm sure the question "Automatic OF manual" hasn't been asked before.

shawn :)
Manual, bcoz I prefer to drive manuals. I have never driven an auto XD, so I'm a little biased towards the manual. Hyundai Australia's latest promotion is selling Elantra's with free auto's. But everytime I get my XD serviced at the local dealership, they always give me a manual loaner. I was offered an auto loaner once, and I said 'Now P is for park, R is for reverse, is D for DAMN FAST?' The salesman looked at me, and said 'Maybe you'd be better off with the workshop ute instead.'
'04 5-speed MANUAL... there is no alternative!
