What? Why would you? It's the very same car; I don't think that'll matter in the least. It's like if I went and put a Ferrari Device on my car.. Same car, but it sure as shit ain't a Ferrari.

No but you might get a cop problem. I had a cop give me crap last night because i don't have any badges. i got pulled over on the military base for having my neon lights on. gave me a base ticket(basically a written warning) took about 15 min longer beacsue i had to explain what the car was and why i took the badges off. i hate cops

It is not law that the make and model of your car be displayed on the exterior. If a cop wants to be a prick he will find any reason possible but there is no legal reason for a ticket, insurance problems, or anything else.

Too bad though... might cut down on the amount of Type-R, Spec-V, GTR, SI-Civics on the road - lol.

Changing to Avante XD is the same as throwing on any of those stupid pep-boys badges (but not gay like them). No legality problems at all.

If a cop could give you a ticket for not having badges on your car, then he could give you a ticket on the thought of "I don't like the dealership you bought your car from"

:headshake Va Beach cops are famous up and down the East Coast for being the biggest bunch of knuckle-dragging shit-heads in all of law enforcement. I talk to Fairfax County and Va. state boys all the time and they just shake their heads in wonder. I think it because they deal with 18 year old military guys all the time and they've gotten used to taking advantage. Still sucks ass though

I can just imagine the cops face when trying to figure out what your car is....but he can write down the VIN number just as easily. Oh, and the VIN is also on your insurance slip - so don't fret - If they write up a ticket for you....well, they are pricks...plain and simple.

I guess not, I've had a couple of those friends that think it's great to say what they think I'm thinking instead of keeping their mouth shut. A couple time their smart ass comments resulted in more trouble than what the situation started out as. Moral of the story, unless your the driver of the car or the person the cop is speaking to keep your mouth shut and I won't end up in the back of a squad car.

I thought it was pretty funny dude but I did have one of "those friends" talk me into a 250 dollar ticket up in MD once. That wasn't so funny.

I went from a warning to a ride to the station and a $300 fine all for my friends being smart asses. When it cost me $$ and 6 hours it's not funny, watching it happen to someone else, yeah I'd laugh my ass off I guess.
