Looking for a reliable, easy to use Linux distro for a bootable USB installation. I have a work laptop that's locked down, and I want to "free" it. Distro should have wireless capability, right? Needs to run completely off the stick. Only for web browsing, no other apps needed.

If this is impossible, please tell me. I have never used Linux, just heard its virtues extolled.

Knoppix is a good live disc I use to retrieve files from fux0red Windows installations, but it's simple.

PCLinuxOS2007 is my preferred Linux distro at the moment. It will also run as a live disk from the image.

Wireless may or may not work on a LiveCD. Depends on what distro you get and what wireless card your laptop has.

Ubuntu, Xubuntu looks nicer if you want something prettier.

I was always a fan of Knopix if you're just going to use a mobile installation.
