I'm currently doing the same thing and you have to purchase bulbs with twist bases! The elantra xd2 is 4 t10 bulbs and 2 t5 bulbs.
Which means 4 194s and 2 74s
So is that a no to the soldering? So it should just be a direct swap. Lets say I wanted the dash to be blue, it would be a direct swap from whatever bulb is in there to the new blue LED?
Im not totally sure but I believe so. Haven't taken the dash apart on this car yet but usually thats all that it is and with those there is no soldering needed. Just direct swap with color of your choice.
you have the equivalent to the GT cluster here in the USA the GLS is all green not LED based
