I'm new to the site, but it seems like a lot of good info is available. Hopefully someone has ran into this one. I've got an '06 Elantra with around 64K miles. The check engine light came on a few days ago. I ran a code scan and it's throwing a P0011 (Intake Cam Position Timing Over Advanced - Bank 1). After doing some searching I believe I'm narrowed down to ...
1. Timing Belt Issue
2. VCT Solenoid
3. Faulty Sensor
I really don't think the timing belt is the issue. I pulled the upper cover for the belt and it looks like it's in good shape (No Cracks, Dirt or Oil).
I really have no idea on the VCT .... totally new territory
Has anyone ran into a similar issue?
